Ingegerd Silow flat-weave rug, hand-woven in Sweden in the 1960s. Beautiful color palette in gray, blue, yellow, olive-brown & cream. Hand-woven 100 % new wool on linen, signed on bottom right corner with the artists initials IS'. Very good condition, a few fringes are worn off. Can be used on both sides as it's double woven. The back side has slightly more vibrant colors. Width including fringes: 250 cm Width without fringes: 230 cm Depth: 168 cm - Ingegerd Silow was part of a second generation of twentieth century Swedish textile designers. Trained at Stockholms Konstfack university, her carpets are of the highest quality in terms of impeccable materials & weaving techniques.
