This burgundy red quilted table runner in a classical heritage inspired fabric called Strawberry Thief from the Kelmscott collection for Morris & Co would look lovely on any table in your home throughout the year. SIZE: This table runner measures approx: 41 (104cm) x 15 (38cm). FRONT: The table runner top is made with two fabrics from a 100% cotton collection called Kelmscott by Morris & Co, the central panel is in the classic Strawberry Thief design in burgundy red, with the outer border being red Marigold floral fabric from the same collection, these are separated by two narrow borders of burgundy fabric. MIDDLE & BACKING: The finished pieced front is then sandwiched with Hobbs Heirloom Premium wadding in the middle & backed with cream cotton fabric. QUILTING: cross hatch quilted on the central panel & straight line quilted along the borders in burgundy thread. BINDING: The table runner is then bound with burgundy fabric which is machine stitched both front & back for durability. If you do need to wash your runner or topper I would suggest either cool machine wash or hand wash, then dry flat to avoid too much shrinkage as all my runners & toppers are made from 100% cotton fabrics & threads. Table runners & toppers can be ironed (pressed) on cotton setting with gentle steam when required. This table runner is decorative & does not have any insulation fabric incorporated in the design so please be aware that this cannot be used to protect your table top from hot items.
