Description
Vintage silver plated double arm candelabra with triple sconce holders. Beautiful Art Nouveau styling with twisted branches to each of the outer candle holders. Fabulous rose detailing around the candle drip trays, middle column, & around the base which is felted. Stamped on the side at the base with 'Silver Plated, Ianthe of England. Ianthe is the trademark of Ian Health Ltd. of Birmingham & has been in use from circa 1952. A very well made candelabra, it is quite heavy for its size which means it will sit solidly. All three candle holders unscrew for cleaning purposes, the tops of the candle sconces lift out so you can remove any excess wax, & the base also unscrews. A fabulously elegant candelabra to grace any dining table or sideboard.
