A replacement door & frame to conceal an existing niche. Is your existing built in medicine cabinet outdated & in need of a little love? Do you feel that the existing shelf section doesn't need replacing or that the idea of tackling a renovation project makes you cringe? You may now replace the door to your existing built in with a new frame & door-a great & easy way to refresh your bathroom without the hassle of ripping out your old cabinet & damaging walls. I offer four (4) models which are taken from my other wall mounted & built in cabinets. -Window frame door-all glass panels-upper section with Apothecary decal -Paneled bottom with an upper glass section with Apothecary decal -Bead board paneled bottom with an upper glass section with Apothecary decal -All paneled door. A frame which can range from minimum 1.5 wide to 2.5-3 (larger widths are available on demand) is secured to the outer contour of your existing built in part (the section in the wall) & a door, in the style & finish of your choice, is fastened to the frame. Frame & door are 3/4 thick. I offer three (3) finishes: -Stained -Slightly distressed -Solid paint I offer a choice of stain & paint colors. You may refer to the colors charts. If you require a specific color please let me know. All finishes are protected with a durable clear top coat. All hardware is black-cast iron latches, H or L hinges Your door & frame may be installed one of 2 ways: -You may simply use liquid nails for smaller door & frames. This construction grade glue is used to secure wood to walls without the hassle of screws & nails with a discreet look. -You may use finishing nails by drilling a small pilot hole beforehand. I would recommend the use of 1.5 - 2 finishing nails & then filling the holes with wood filler (not included) & a light touch of paint or stain to hide the small holes. Patch paint or stain can be purchased for a small extra fee. WHEN PLACING AN ORDER: -Measure the exterior contour of your existing cabinet (W X L). -Choose the size option required. -Choose the finish desired & the colour -Hinges can be placed either on right or left side. Left or right when standing in front of your cabinet? PLEASE SPECIFY WHEN PLACING AN ORDER. If not otherwise stated, the color of the distressed finish option will be Casement as shown in the listing. FOR EXISTING CABINETS THAT ARE NOT LEVEL WITH THE WALL: There is also the option to build up the frame as to cover the protruding part of your existing cabinet. Information needed is the following: -width from outside ledge to outside ledge -length from outside ledge to outside ledge -height at which the existing cabinet is higher than wall.
