Handmade ceramic keepsake baby dish or bowl is stamped My Darling Baby, a perfect baby shower gift for expecting parents! This dish will go easily from feeding the little one, to the china cabinet, to being passed on when the little one has children of his or her own! Of course, this dish is made by hand in the U.S.A., with lead-free glaze. Dishwasher & microwave safe. I threw this on the potter's wheel with earthenware clay, waited until it was just dry enough to refine & trim the shape & stamp the letters into the clay. I then used white underglaze to bring out the clay's light color. After, I allowed it to dry the rest of the way before firing it the first time at around 1800 degrees. When the kiln had cooled down enough, the bowl was covered in clear glaze & fired again.
