This large, modern-style, original Mrirt rug was made by artisans in the area of Khenifra, Atlas Mountains, Morocco. Groups of women there still weave by hand on traditional, vertical looms to make these new rugs. This rug is made of premium quality, soft wool 100%. Medium pile, thick & heavy! Super comfortable texture. Colors are a coffe brown, beige & several tones of blue from a very light to aqua & royal blue. Approximate dimensions are 7.2x10.1feet (+4inches tassels) / 220x308cm (+10cm tassels). This rug is newly-made, meaning that it will come to you all clean & in excellent condition! As it is handmade, it may show some irregularities but is in a great shape overall. Pictures were taken in my bright & all white studio in Marrakech. They have been edited but colors are accurate. Please take time to check all detailed pictures, so you can see the great work done on that rug! This rug can be remade in another dimensions & different colors.
