Charming bentwood chair designed by Michael Thonet. Using his technique, the bending of solid wood that he developed & perfected during the 1850s, Michael Thonet created various models with his signature design. It was the first time serial furniture production was possible & the quality of his craftsmanship can still be seen today. This chair has plenty of patina & would suit both cafes, vintage & contemporary interiors.
