I created this collage around the painting the lady with the ermine by Leonardo da Vinci, a 16th century Italian painter. This is a reproduction of the original work. The reproduction is printed on art paper 230grams of very nice quality. This collage questions the status of women & their perception in today's society. I offer 2 formats of reproductions: - 7,9 inch x 7,9 inch - 11,8 inch x 11,8inch Attention the frame is not sold with the reproduction. The collage is built around this portrait, & develops through successive encounters: I am looking for the perfect juxtaposition, the line that joins the line, the improbable chances. I like to play with differences in scale, paper textures, colour harmonies. I often confront the vegetal & the organic, trying to make them indistinguishable, I like to confuse the eye & play with it, to surprise in order to make people react. Finally, I look for the overall coherence, the balance of the composition & at a given moment, I know that the collage is finished.
