A pair of Archibald Carne polished steel fire dogs, tripod form with tall twisted finial. They measure 30cm wide, 27cm high & 30cm front to back. Both have stamped A. Carne Truro to the back leg. Please see page 89 of the excellent book 'Cornish Art Metalwork' by Colin Pill for a photograph of the Red Rose Guild Exhibition in Manchester illustrating an identical pair.
