This lovely little teacup & saucer are exquisitely painted in complementary colors, against a contemporary background of swirling ribbons & dashes. I estimate they date to the '70's based on the background design. The plate measures 4&3/4 in diameter. The little cup is 2&7/8 wide, including the handle (2&1/16 cup diameter) & 2&1/4 tall. As usual, I forgot to test the liquid cup capacity as I see these sets as decorative objects only. If you would like me to measure the cup capacity, I am more than happy to do so. Just send me an e-mail. The bottom of the cup is stamped with the name of the manufacturer, & hand signed S. Pietro (San Peter's)/Roma/Italy. The plate is stamped with the manufacturer only.
