These very chic napkin rings are made of Toquilla palm by artisans from Sandon, a small town tucked in the mountains of Southern Colombia. Using a traditional technique, the process begins by obtaining the threads from the leaves of the Toquilla, which are then dyed & interwoven to create beautiful & intricate pieces that are the ultimate expression of the region's culture & identity. For decades, artisan communities in the region have preserved this art of weaving Toquilla palm, & it currently constitutes their main source of income. Sold individually.
