A handmade Vintage style decoupage tray in a William Morris design brings this gorgeous tray to become a centre piece of its surroundings. This tray is extremely difficult to make. Hence, the price difference. It takes me three times as much to complete the tray in comparison to the other trays. When I work on my trays I always treat the indentations on the wood & make it perfect before I begin my work. It is so important to me that the trays leave my studio near to perfection but as you know as it's handmade, it would never be 100% perfect like it was cut & made by a machine or a robot. This tray is suitable for day & night but certainly any event, serving champagne, wine or cocktails. The choice is yours. Or a special occasion with a pot of tea & a special plate full of cakes & sweets. It will certainly impress whoever you're serving. Also it's such a versatile tray that you can use it as a breakfast tray or any occasion tray. It's quite an unusual tray that will have all your friends envious. It's on trend at the moment where everyone is going mad about William Morris the amazing textile designer from the 1800's. It can also be the centre focal point of your living room to use for your magazines & remote controls on your pouf or coffee table, the choice is yours. The tray is decoupaged but of course varnished over 3-4 times, so that no colour runs on your bedding or sofas or the kitchen counter. You can rest assured that nothing will ruin this tray unless you wash it or soak it but you can certainly use a damp cloth or a wipe to disinfect it & clean it but please be gentle.
