Hand-thrown & turned Stormy Grey Cup, made from porcelain. Slips (liquid clay coloured with oxides) are manipulated on the surface in order to create pieces with an airy sense of movement as well as dramatic pops that contrast against the clean lines & minimal shapes. Each piece is diamond sanded & lined with a clear glossy glaze which creates a beautiful contrast against the smooth natural surface on the outside.
