This hand-fabricated ‘X’ shaped frame is a classic, yet timeless farmhouse design. Featuring high strength properties, frame can hold not only wooden but stone & concrete table tops with ease. With our in-house powder coating facility, all legs & frames can be finished in wide variety of colours to the highest standard. Legs are made from chunky 80x80mm steel box section, 50mm x 50mm box section for the center bar & 40x20mm box section for the top support which bolts into captive nuts welded into the top section on the legs. Bench legs are made from chunky 50x50mm steel box section, benches are width 300mm x height 420mm. The top support section & center supporting bar have been designed to stop any wobble. Suitable for wide range of worktops including stone & concrete. The top section of the frame will arrive with pre-drilled holes for fixing into a table top. Table frame comes with all fixings ready to fix into a table top (4 hex bolts, 4 nuts, 16 Coach screws). The bottom of the legs are capped with steel to close the box section. Available in clear coat or a wide range of powder coat finishes. MATERIAL Our frames are made from ERW steel box which is so called because of the electronic resistance welding method employed in its manufacture, which uses a combination of heat & pressure resulting in a very consistent & strong forged weld seam. However it is employed, mild steel square ERW box offers a terrific level of performance & reliability, & it is also favoured as a very ‘green’ option as it is widely recycled. Mild steel square box benefits from the strength & low weight of this structure. FINISHES CLEAR FINISH - legs are degreased & then powder coated in clear gloss or clear matt to give a hard wearing coating, protecting from rust & enhancing the industrial steel finish. POWDER COATING STANDARD COLOURS - welds are ground off & sanded back to a smooth finish, next they are degreased & then powder coated in a stock colour to give a high quality hard wearing coating, protecting from rust.
