1930s Robe 34" bust 30" waist (UK 8/10). This beautiful robe is made from a brocade with an oriental design, the colour is that lovely Deco peachy pink. I have a few beautiful robes to show you, from one collection, sadly they all have flaws .so not for those who need perfect. Having said that, they still present wonderfully. I know that’s there are some of us who really do not mind slightly imperfect, they are part of the history. High neckline with Peter Pan collar, the robe fastens with frog closures to hip level. Fully lined in silk with an interliner for warmth. Fitted silhouette, with a belt that comes from the back panel to tie centre front. Lovely drape to the skirts with two gorgeous Art deco pointed patch pockets. Puffed sleeves that taper into the wrist. Old Hollywood glamour. Condition 'overall in beautiful condition, except this beauty has fade along the shoulders,and down the centre of the sleeves, more so on the left side as pictured. There is also fade to the & inner collar & a small hole in the lower skirts. see images. I dont believe any of this detracts too much.
