This is a recycled spoon head, lovingly selected & hand-stamped, then turned into a necklace for you. Select from faux suede or chain for the necklace, which will then be finished with a silver plated clasp & 2" extension chain. Our hand-stamped spoon necklaces make the perfect gift for all occasions, a special birthday message, a loving valentines note, a personalised gift for mothers or fathers day, christmas stocking fillers or just a treat for yourself. Each spoon is different, having individual amounts of rippling, varying degrees of depth to each letter stamped & unpredictable spacing between each letter & word. Imperfections on the spoon are due to there age & history & are part of their charm. One will be selected at random for you & may differ to the image shown. Shape, colour & stamping will also vary, these are created to be individual & unique. Please note that these items are hand stamped meaning that I stamp each letter one at a time, so each letter will have varying degrees of depth & unpredictable spacing between them. The process is very different from traditional engraving, which carves a light groove into the metal. Stamping is a more forceful technique, where each individual letter, number & symbol is stamped by hand, one at a time with a hammer & steel stamp. This is much deeper than engraving. The coloring of the letters will wear off over time depending on frequency of use & method of cleaning, but the stamping impression will remain visible. HAND WASHING IS RECOmmENDED.
