Family trio of rainbow fish, wall hanging art created from pieces of recycled discarded fishing gear. Original, sustainable eco fibre art / fiber art by Rachel White. My ghost net art was on TV across the UK in celebrity chef Ainsley Harriott's 'Ainsley's Good Mood Food' series 1 & 2 on ITV in 2021/2022. The quirky little rainbow fishes in this listing are the items shown in the photographs. They each have a handpainted glass eye & they are carefully handcrafted in Dorset, England, by me. Rainbow fish were a creation designed by me in early 2022 to help raise funds for our local marine litter group - see below. 25% of the profits from my rainbow fish is donated to our local 'not-for-profit' beach cleaning group. Weymouth & Portland Marine Litter Project CIC work tirelessly to remove the endless daily tide of debris from our beautiful beaches, which have World Heritage Site status. I am also their sponsor for shoreline cleans along the Fleet lagoon, which runs parallel to Chesil beach. Charity donation certificates feature regularly in the 'highlights' section of my Instagram & Facebook accounts, both @driftwoodfish. These unique fishes are created from a variety of 'ghost nets': fishing gear washed ashore & salvaged from our beaches. The net is scrubbed clean, sorted & dried, & is then refashioned to form the design. They will be sent carefully packaged, via Royal Mail, in a protective box with recycled or reused packaging.
