Calling all Mcm lovers. Here we have a single candlestick holder made from olive wood in a mosaic or parquet design. This would look fantastic on a dining table or fireplace mantle in a mid century or rustic space, but would be equally as fantastic as a modernist touch in a transitional or contemporary setting. The triangular base is widest at the bottom & tapers to a brass capital at the top. This piece was made in Israel & bears an inscription on the bottom that reads, Handmade David Jerusalem, Israel, Patent 9333. It stands at 11 inches tall & is 2 3/4 inches across at the widest point. This piece is in great vintage condition with a lovely patina to the brass. The wood could benefit from a light polish if you prefer more of a sheen, or leave it as-is to allow the patina to shine on its own.
