These are a stunning pair of Antique French Brass Wall Lights with beautiful portraits & scrolling acanthus leaf decorations. They have a wonderfully rich golden patina & the original plaster 'candles.' Made from bronze they are sturdy & yet have that wonderful soft movement in the design. They really would add that classic Chateau Chic to any modern home! They're gorgeous! They have not been tested, & I would recommend a rewire, or simply using them as candle holders. They would work brilliantly as either! They have two little hanging holes on the back plate. They measure approximately: Height of back plate - 12 1/2 (32cm) Height of total holder - 15 3/4 (40cm) Width of total holder - 10 (28cm) They are in wonderful timeworn condition, but there is a little yellowing around the tips of the 'candles,' please see the photo's for a closer look.
