Fits standard taper candles (7/8). A nickel insert has been placed in each hole to support your candles. THE CANDLES - You can purchase the holder with or without candles. If you purchase candles, you will receive three purple & one pink unscented, ten-inch, hand dipped candles. THE MATERIAL - Hand crafted from the finest hardwoods. Available in: - Hard Maple (Clear) - Hard Maple (Spalted) - African Mahogany - White Ash - American Black Walnut - Cherry Wood THE PROCESS - The Knotty Dane joints, planes, saws & rough sands each board to the correct dimensions. Hole locations are set & then carefully drilled with a forstner bit using a drill press to assure holes are uniform in size & depth. FINISHING - The Knotty Dane sands each holder to 220 grit to provide for a super smooth surface. Each holder is inspected before three coats of spray lacquer are applied for a lifetime finish.
