Early 20th C. Beech & Elm Stick Back Wooden Chair in original Peeling Paint. Dating from the early part of the 20th. century this chair still retains it's original green paint. Age has caused it to peel but this just adds to the rustic look of it. The chair has a beech frame & an elm seat which has been stripped, sealed polished resulting in a pleasing aged patina Despite it's age, the chair is in a remarkably sturdy condition, solid, with no loose joints or signs of excessive use.
