This piece is woven on a wooden floor loom. I designed this wall art to create interest through the different scales of yarn. The thick chunky yarn creates a large bubble effect with the weave. & the thin fine yarns create a smooth flat surface. I love to play with these kinds of contrasting materials. This piece came out of a new series I am developing...exploring textures using different scales of yarn.
