This is a vintage mid century, Italian, metal, gold-gilt, floral, toleware candelabra. The made in Italy ring which usually accompanies these pieces has long since disappeared. This is a large candelabra measuring 13 inches in height & 11 inches across. It stands on 4 legs representing the vine which holds 3 open, tulip flowers for the candles. The added charm of this piece is its aged patina & candle wax from being the centerpiece of many dinner parties over the years. The gold-gilt is not in the best condition & there is at least one broken vine/leaf decoration, but no matter it still has its shabby-chic appeal. The three, candle openings inside the petals are for a 1 inch in diameter candle. How about using it as a Christmas ornament display stand for 3 of your favorite ornaments?
