This is a very good looking vignette for your vintage/industrial/farmhouse kitchen. Here we have a very stylish metal creamer & lidded sugar bowl set Chrome on the outside, gold brushed on the inside. Both pieces are marked: L.F. & C Universal, Made in the U.S.A. Those were definitely made before 1965 when GE bought L.F.C. L.F. & C stands for Landers, Frary & Clark But this is not all, folks! This shiny group was bought at the Estate Sale with the tray, & at first it appeared to be a complete set of three items. At home (with my glasses on) I discovered that the tray is an absolutely separate thing by a different maker. The stamp says INOxBECK 18/10 Italy. The numbers refer to the ratio of chromium to nickel. This is food safe alloy, & the tray has gold accents, which makes it a nice companion piece to the creamer/sugar bowl set. I decided not to separate those items, which probably co-existed in the same household from the 50's/early 60's. You can adopt them as a bonded trio. Creamer is 3 inches tall (at the spout) Creamer Opening is 3 inches across Creamer from spout to end of handle is 5 inches Sugar Bowl is about 2 inches tall (without lid) approximately 4 inches (with lid) Opening about 4 inches wide Sugar measures 6 inches wide (including both handles) Lid measures about 1 inches tall. The tray is 12 by 6 The overall condition is unbelievable; the tray has some scratches here & there, but the creamer & sugar bowl set looks like new.
