Whilst I was pregnant with my eldest son I knew that I wanted to wrap him in something that was truly & uniquely his. A piece of crochet that would keep him warm, would soften any surface he was placed on & that would look amazing wrapped around him. I hooked him the very blanket pictured in this listing. in all honestly this is it photographed after 4 years (and TW0 children) of constant use. It has been a playmat, a pram blanket, a swaddle, a lovey & a good old cot blanket. It goes in the wash at 30o & comes out ready to do it all again. They are made with 100% acrylic yarn they are vegan friendly as well as easy care. When my nephew came along 5 months later, my brother in law asked for one in different colours (so we don't confuse them at family gatherings!) & I love seeing it being used constantly by them too. My granny stripe baby blankets can be made up in any colours you request, perhaps to match a nursery, bedding set or pram. The perfect new baby or heirloom christening gift.
