A rarity & not a pottery I had come across before, I thought at first glance it was bound to be Toni Raymond, but no, Geoffrey Maund. It speaks for itself it is a bathroom or bedroom item to keep your cotton wool in, with this lovely hand painted blue striped ticking pattern. 12.5cm tall & 9.5cm in diameter, so room for a good amount of cotton wool either in a roll or in balls.
