When stuffing a pillow cover that has square corners, it is possible to take the corner of the insert & stuff it into the corner of the pillow cover. This allows the soft fill to settle into those sharp edges. It is not possible to do this with a polyester-fill pillow since they are stiffer, resulting in an ill fit with dog ears at the corners. Allergic to down? There are good alternatives. Synthetic down or bamboo will give a similar effect to down & feather.
