Cut from 2mm mild steel The Raw Steel finish will begin to rust on its own if left unpainted. The metal will have slight scratch marks from where it has been sanded, but these should be easily covered once left to rust or painted. The Rusted finish comes in many different shades & may not look exactly like the image, however; this makes each item unique. Please be aware that the rusting process will develop over time to meet its full beauty, resulting in a natural change of colour/appearance. We advise that you wear gloves when unpacking the item as there may be some sharp edges. We try to ensure that most sharp edges have been removed but occasionally one might slip through the net! The rusted finish can also be transferred to your hands/clothing so extra care should be taken. Due to the nature of the material, the supplied item may have some scratches/machining marks. These should easily disappear once left to fully rust. We suggest that rusted items are hung slightly spaced off walls to prevent any sort of marking. TREE OF LIFE - WOOD Made from 6mm Oak veneered Mdf Items are made using a laser cutter, so may have a slight smell of burnt wood which will disappear over time. Because of this, the edges of the cut have a dark finish but this adds a nice contrast to the item. Please note that although our items are cut from wood, some delicate designs need to be handled with care to prevent any damage.
