Item Details. Dating from around 1900 this unused handmade needlepoint tapestry intended for a sofa back & sides. Still with its original label it was made in Paris, France. Hand embroidered in wools dyed with natural dyes in a lovely colourway which would suit most interiors. The needlework embroidery has never been used & would benefit by being stretched & mounted, a service we can offer from our professional textile conservation studio. It would also make a fabulous headboard. Measurements. Sofa back: 149 x 110cm Sides: 90 x 91cm Condition. in very good antique condition with some small losses to the wool embroidery which could easily be restored. Further Notes.
