This sample board was found in an antique trunk, with some antique & vintage kimonos & 19th century books on Japanese block printing. This fabric , in my professional opinion , was a special fabric, antique & meant to be shown for purchase, so this is an early 20th century fabric sample. Some of the boards had a handle at the top, another clue. Either way, this textile sample would be STUNNING framed.
