Welcome to The Textile Trunk! Please follow us on Instagram @textiletrunk This vintage pillowcase is gorgeous! This beautiful pillow slip is an antique French textile dating to around 1930. It's made of high quality fabric - a cotton & linen blend, but more cotton than linen, I would say. It has a striped weave & a beautiful, delicate lace edge - I adore the striped pattern! The back has an opening for the pillow to be inserted & it fastens shut with lovely little white buttons! A beautiful piece - so classically beautiful! It would be stunning on a bed in any period interior! MEASUREMENTS: This lovely textile measures approximately 21 inches by 24 inches laid flat CONDITION: I have freshly laundered this lovely piece & it's ready to use! It can be machine washed on gentle & hung to dry, or tumbled dry. The lace edge is in beautiful condition & it still has all of the buttons!
