Welcome to The Textile Trunk! Please follow us on Instagram @textiletrunk This lovely vintage linen/cotton blend pillow slip is an antique French textile dating to the early 1900s. It's made of high quality handwoven linen & cotton blend; I think it likely was made from an antique sheet! It has some tiny nubs & slubs in the weave which adds to its beautiful handwoven texture! The back has an opening for the pillow to be inserted & it fastens shut with lovely little white buttons! A wonderful vintage piece for a rustic period interior! MEASUREMENTS: This lovely textile measures approximately 21 inches by 19 inches laid flat CONDITION: I have freshly laundered this lovely piece & it's ready to use! It can be machine washed on gentle & hung to dry, or tumbled dry. There are some tiny stains & age marks on this piece that didn't wash (see photos & use the zoom feature to see details); they may lighten over time with repeated washings. I like to use Oxi Clean White Revive along with my regular detergent! There is a seam in the large panel of the back.
