A rare & absolutely stunning antique Victorian silver & moonstone cabochon bookchain lavalier collar necklace. An amazing & mesmerizing piece, the natural moonstones have a magical quality, flashing from ethereal silver tones to grey, blue & milky white. Light shines from within the stones. A bewitching necklace that sits at the base of the neck, ghostly. With a flower shaped lavalier drop & a moonstone set push clasp. Delicately formed, dainty yet impressive. There are a couple of natural flecks in the front central moonstone & in a few others. Collar measures 39cm, lavalier drop 5cm. Lovely condition. Open back settings, bezel type mounts wih small claws. Tests as silver. Lovely antique condition, has to be worn to be believed!
