Please note, we do not use plain or painted Plywood for this Map. Also we do not paint or stain our pieces we leave the grain natural to assure its beauty. The Map is finely engraved & cut with a powerful industrial Laser Cutter for accurate & precise cut edges & engraving. The beautifully designed Boats, Planes, Ocean, Sea's & Compass adds that additional spark to this unique piece. Every piece is finished perfectly & quality checked before being packed. All the major landmasses are boxed & surrounded by double thickness card to ensure they do not move during the delivery process. We offer this map in a choice of stunning finishes... Maple, Oak, Sapele, Cherry, Walnut & Silver Mirror. We have a number of options to chose from: The map shown in this Listing (which is in our guest room) is the Small size in Maple & is approximately 80cm (31.5) high x 65cm (25.5) wide. in addition small we have the following sizes Medium. The map is 1.31m (51.5) high x 98cm (38.5) wide Large. The map is 1.97cm (77.5) high x 1.47m (57.8) wide Please note: Like our other maps, we try & keep the scale & shape as close as possible & try to include as many of the smaller islands as possible but some are too small & will be omitted (please don't judge us little islands. We cut our maps to utilise the full beauty of the grain so, when installed, the map catches the light better. Unless specifically requested via a custom order, the grain direction could differ between landmasses. Once you have unboxed the map, the fun starts.
