The Caitlyn hat. This is a beautiful vintage style women's winter hat, made using high quality Harris Tweed in a black & grey barley corn, with a Claret moleskin cotton velvet contrast. The cloche style of this hat echoes the feel of the 1930's, it sits quite deeply on the head & the brim rises to frame the face & show the beautiful velvet contrast colour. With an open collar back brim to the back of the head which allows ease of movement & helps prevent the hat catching the collar of your coat. It is soft & very comfortable to wear due to its gentle pleated crown construction & has an internal adjustment for tightening the size a little if needed for those windy days. It is trimmed with 3 hand covered buttons in the same velvet as the contrast & is lined in linen The hat weighs 153grams The Brim Width at the front is 8.5cm scooping to 5cm at the back.
