I am UK based, & UK orders are sent Royal Mail special next day delivery, Overseas orders are sent Royal Mail tracked. & I post frequently during the week. Brighten up your bookshelf, with this Book Nook shelf insert. made from upcycled hardback books. This Booknook diorama has led lights in it, & is made to fit on your bookshelf, but you can also use it as a bedside light, on a table in your hallway, on a shelf your desk or anywhere you can fit it! There are 5 LED fairy lights in the ceiling & it really glows when turned on in the dark, these bright white lights. The lamp behind the chair has a light in, & there are lights behind the chair to highlight this area. There is a deep blue with gold pattern cosy chair & matching footstool, a none working electric fire, Tibetan silver stags head on the wall, a pile of books on the floor, & a table with a hot drink, a heart, a bar of chocolate, a book, bottle, heart & real shell. I made the chair, lamp, table, footstool & books, mostly from things destined for the recycling bin! The background is a photo quality image of a library. The battery pack is attached at the back for ease of changing the batteries, & the switch is at the top of the book at the end of the spine. The book is black , & measures almost 9 1/2 tall, the book is just over 6 deep, almost 71/4 including battery pack, 6 wide at the front then tapers towards the back. It uses 2 AA batteries. Hand crafted by me, taking quite a few hours, & made from upcycled books, so please allow for minor blemishes on the outside of the book. Yes I treasure books but lots of unwanted hardback books end up in landfill as they can't be recycled. Rest assured the pages from the books I use have been removed from the spine, & recycled.
