I am UK based, & UK orders are sent Royal Mail special next day delivery, Overseas orders are sent Royal Mail tracked. & I post frequently during the week. Brighten up your bookshelf, with this Book Nook shelf insert. made from upcycled hardback books. This Booknook diorama has led lights in it, & is made to fit on your bookshelf, but you can also use it as a bedside light, on a table in your hallway, on a shelf your desk or anywhere you can fit it! A room with a view, & a library background. I made the book nook itself from upcyled hardback books, I also made the cosy chair, the table & the books. There is a hot drink & a chocolate cake perched on the little table, which has some little knick knacks on it! & a cute little rug. There is an optional cat. I do have other cats, black, black & white, ginger & tabby, should you want a different cat please convo me first to see if I have one in stock. The background image, is a photo quality image of a library of piles of books. There are 12 lights clustered into two shades. These are bright white, so give a nice bright glow. The battery pack is attached at the back for ease of changing the batteries, & the switch is at the top of the book at the end of the spine. The book is black with black finishing, it measures just under 9 1/2 tall, the book is just over 6 deep, 7 including battery pack, aprox 4 wide at the front, & tapers towards the back. It uses 2 AA batteries. Hand crafted by me, taking quite a few hours, & made from upcycled books, so please allow for minor blemishes on the outside of the book . Yes I treasure books but lots of unwanted hardback books end up in landfill as they can't be recycled. Rest assured the pages from the books I use have been removed from the spine, & recycled.
