This antique or vintage horseshoe shaped saucer candle holder or chamberstick is made from pressed brass. It has an unusual plier grip device to hold the candle securely in place. It's similar in design to ones I've seen marked Randell, but this one is different in that it has a more finely shaped & crafted centre area & no additional handle. It could be that this piece is an earlier version of the design that then became simplified for ease of production. This candle holder is in a good usable condition with surface blemishes & a few dinks. Please look closely at all the photos as they form part of the item description.
