Beautiful Art Deco Pewter Candlestick made by C.G. Hallberg, Stockholm, Sweden. Dated 1933. C.G. Hallberg (Carl Gustaf Hallberg) was a prominent Swedish goldsmiths & jewelers, jeweler to the Swedish Court. C.G.H. is best known for its silverware & metalware which continue to fetch high prices in auctions today. in the early 20th century it was the largest jewelers in Scandinavia & one of Sweden's top firms. Beautifully made scandinavian pewter 2-arm candle holder from a golden era in the Swedish design history, with aesthetics often referred to as Swedish Grace, which would be called Art Deco today. Excellent antique condition with very minor wear. Stamped mark: CGH crown logo (C.G.
