A pair of decorative metal candleholders dating from around the 1930s - 1950s. These tall candle holders are made from cast zinc & make a lovely addition to a table setting. The candle holders are made from plain metal & cast with ornate decoration of organic scrolls & leaves. The holders will take a slightly wider than normal dinner candle - the cup measures 24mm in diameter (a standard dinner candle is about 22mm diameter). We found that the judicious use of blue tack solves the problem! The candle holders are in good condition although they do both lean slightly to one side, one more than the other (see photos). This reflected in the price. They are however perfectly useable & still look lovely in use. Please check all the photos to ensure you are aware of the vintage condition. The candle holders measure 23cm high. The ornate decoration & dull metal finish of these pretty candleholders reflect candlelight beautifully.
