With a background in art, Ritsuko has always been drawn to the creative world. She started exploring figurative pottery art for her university course in Japan. Further developed her ceramic journey was a year spent at the University of Wolverhampton (UK) , where she had a chance to connect with British pottery & acquired a broader sense of ceramic art outside of the Japanese framework. Ritsuko moved on to finish another ceramics course at the Industrial Technology Center in Mashiko.
