The Enso Dining Chair is not just any chair - it's an incredibly sturdy companion for years of shared meals & memories. With its hand-sculpted deep tractor seat & contoured back, this chair offers optimal support & comfort. Made from natural solid wood, this dining chair is incredibly sturdy & can last for generations. The Enso Collection is inspired by Japanese woodworking philosophy, wherein Enso is the symbol of strength, elegance, & enlightenment. With 25 percent of our hand tools coming from Japan, it's fitting to honor this centuries-old philosophy in our contemporary design line. DIMENSIONS: - 18.5 wide, 21 deep, & 36 tall with an 18.5 seat height. MATERIALS: The item is solid wood. All my wood arrives as rough-sawn lumber, which affords me extra flexibility with my material. I do my best to match boards for grain, color, & texture. That said, wood is natural & what you order may not look exactly like the picture, but it will be a unique work of art. All the wood used in T.Y. Fine Furniture is selected from naturally fallen trees from local Ohio Forests. The glues are age-old milk-based blends that are tested for food contact. FINISH: I believe wood should never be stained or sealed heavily. It robs the wood of its beauty & the end user of the pure experience & joy when buying an honestly made piece of furniture. I use my own wood finish which is an Oil+Wax blend. & because I treat my customers as I would my own family, my finish is 100% Organic & consists of only food-grade ingredients.
