PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE AS THIS HAS NOW BEEN SOLD This is a lovely Victorian farmhouse pine scrub table full of character standing on 4 turned legs with a single drawer. I have gently sanded down & treated the top with 3 coats of Danish oil which enhances the natural colour & preserves the wood to provide a water resistant surface. I chose not to paint the top as its full of character & charm & did not want to take that away. There is natural wear & tear, a few marks & dents & some warping, but this just shows its history. The legs do have some wear but they are sound & strong. The legs & side have been painted using Annie Sloan chalk paint in Svenska Blue the new grey/blue, I have then slightly distressed some areas & waxed with white wax for added protection. I have also treated the whole table for woodworm as a precaution, this is something I always do even if there are no signs of woodworm. I have paired it with a set of two old beautiful chapel chairs which are listed for sale separately. Please remember that this is a old vintage piece of furniture, therefore it will show signs of character & slight wear & tear, any obvious characteristics are specified. There are a few scuff marks, dents & scratches that are visible due to aging & can be seen in the photos. I like to be subtle with my restoration & not take too much away from the original character of the piece. My goal is to create something unique, to have my own style & create a statement piece for your home. All furniture is upcycled, refurbished & hand painted with Annie Sloan chalk paint & then sealed with wax for added protection & durability. Due to different computer screen calibrations, colours may be slightly different than what is pictured.
