Standout piece of modern eclectic furniture & fun for kids bedroom, sitting room or dining room. Made by upcycling an old cable reel as the main drum section & from offcuts, recycled wood or old furniture. The slats in the centre painted white maybe made from many off cuts & sundries including; kitchen bread bin, cupboard door, broken drawers or offcuts. Recycled pallet wood of various types covers the top & is sanded to a smooth but rustic finish. The whole thing has been painted with high quality chalk paints in Dutch White & Slate Grey, or you can select 'Custom' for your own. (Picture 6 features the small drum in a custom brown colour) This is then sanded & waxed. The underside is usually left natural so the original markings are still present, & new beech tapered legs are screwed in using fixed Dansette angle plates. All text is hand painted & features floating heart balloon & on each other section with the words 'Books', 'Read', 'Adventure', 'Fantasy', & 'Comedy'. The sizes are not exact due to the recycled nature of the materials.
