Noritake Folkstone New Santa Fe Dinnerware Pieces Sold Individually this pattern is part of Noritake's Folkstone line & is called New Santa Fe. it features black scroll design on matte face with high gloss black finish. first introduced in 1972 it remained in production until 1981. Dinner plates measure 10 5/8 diameter Salad plates 8 1/8 diameter Cereal Bowl 6 diameter Cup 3.25 Creamer 3.75 Sugar Bowl 3 3/8 Noritake opened up their first factory in 1904 in Noritake, a small suburb of Nagoya, Japan. The goal was to create Western style dinnerware that was suitable for export. The first exported piece went out in 1914 & they have been setting the standard & even raising the bar in the dinnerware industry ever since.
