This beautiful Victorian nursing chair is a timeless piece of furniture that makes for a statement in any room. It has recently been recovered in a grey / taupe damask velvet fabric, sympathetic to the era the chair was made. It is studded with brass studs & has wheels on the feet. It also has a classic button back. The arms are low, almost barely there, this was to allow the ladies dress to spill over the chair in an elegant & opulent manner which was fashionable at the time. There are signs of wear, however they are all cosmetic as the chair is still a solid piece of furniture.
