This is a really stunning hand made cabinet. It has been created using reclaimed wood & an original American punched tin door insert in a lovely star pattern with a deep border. The cabinet is a rich deep ochre, a colour commonly used at the time. Inside it is also ochre with a contrasting natural wood shelf & a nice doorknob on the front. The mechanism to secure the door is quite ingenious, two hooks that simply lock into position when the knob is turned. The cabinet has had several coats of wax so it could happily live in a kitchen or bathroom. It can be wall mounted or placed on a larger surface. A gorgeous individual piece carefully & skillfully crafted with a bespoke paint finish.
