I really love this beautiful Victorian pedestal table. This would have originally been used to display a huge glass dome & stand. I have photographed it with my dome stand for scale. The table is classically Victorian with lots of decorative details. The pedestal stand has lovely turned wood with a tripod leg base. The table top has a wonderful tube skirt that crenellates all the way around. The top itself has lovely patina with the grain in the wood now perfectly aged without being damaged. A perfect piece to display your dome if you have one but also idea for smaller spaces for a lamp, flowers or a treasured piece. There is one of the tiniest tubes missing at the back as photographed & there is a very old honest repair to the base of one of the tripod legs.
