A lovely primitive cushion made from an antique German grain sack. The fabric has a herringbone weave in a soft natural stone colour. The design is a laurel wreath that frames the name of the grain merchant, the town he lived & the date, in this case 1877. The cushion fastens at the bottom with concealed press studs stitched on to a grey length of ribbon. The back if the cushion has a centre seam & the insert is feather.
