These are a Fabulous Impressive pair of antique Torchieres. Originally came out of a church & they would have been used to hold huge candles, they would make a great statement piece in a living area for displaying a beautiful plant or of course they would look good in a contemporary home or period property, or a restaurant ! They are made of Solid Brass & are extendable. They have been at some staged lacquered over the brass to limit cleaning. Some of the lacquer has gradually been worn off with age.
